ABOUT RICK

Service before politics. Responsibility before rhetoric.

I’m running because effective representation means serving the entire district — not just its fastest-growing cities. HD-106 includes booming suburbs, but it also includes ranching communities and northern corridors where neglected FM roads have made daily commuting increasingly dangerous.

As your representative, I will advocate for the full district — urban, suburban, and rural — with discipline, fairness, and a steady focus on infrastructure, safety, and long-term planning. Representation should improve people’s daily lives, not leave known problems unfixed.

Leadership is not about headlines — it’s about responsibility.

I believe government works best when it is limited, disciplined, and focused on its proper role: protecting public safety, safeguarding liberty, and respecting taxpayers.

Governing Principles
• Facts over rhetoric
• Discipline over expedience
• Accountability to voters — always

Throughout my career — first in the U.S. Navy and later in roles where decisions had real consequences — I’ve seen what happens when systems grow without accountability. That experience shaped my conviction that government should serve the people, not manage them, and always live within its means.

As your representative, I will bring a steady, informed approach to every issue: asking hard questions, weighing consequences, and making decisions based on facts, not political pressure.

ABOUT RICK

A Record of Service, Not Soundbites

I am a U.S. Navy veteran (Aviation Ordnanceman, Cold War era). That service taught me that preparation matters, accountability is non-negotiable, and responsibility does not end when the work gets hard.

After the Navy, I spent 30 years in IT and cybersecurity, building secure networks that had to work every single day — no excuses. I’ve also spent two decades in Republican leadership: organizing precincts, serving as a legislative aide, drafting tax-transparency laws, and helping deliver historic conservative sweeps that flipped councils, commissions, and statewide offices.

That background means I know how to pass bold legislation on Day One and how to stop the insider games that stall progress.

I strongly support Republican Chairs and Vice Chairs and am fully aligned with the Republican Party of Texas platform. I intend to serve as a principled Republican voice who strengthens our delegation by exercising the responsibilities of the office fully and consistently — with discipline and measurable results.
